Workforce Partners Australia has multiple vacancies across the Mildura region for enthusiastic individuals eager to start their journey in the rewarding field of Early Childhood. This opportunity entails full-time employment, during which successful applicants will undergo training to complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care over 3 years.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the growth and development of young children.
During your traineeship, you will assist in planning each child’s continuous growth, carrying out childcare programs, and ensuring daily routines are followed.
Your goal is to foster confidence and self-esteem and supervise the children under your care.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following attributes:
- Genuine passion for working with young children.
- Eagerness to learn and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- A Working with Children Check is advantageous; however, WFPA can assist you in obtaining your certificate.
Your responsibilities in this role would include:
- Supporting lead educators in implementing age-appropriate activities and daily routines, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of children in your care.
- Learning and implanting childcare policies and procedures.
- Fostering positive relationships with parents through effective communication, providing updates on children’s progress and activities.
- Using an approved learning framework to guide practice.
